July 6, 2009 — Important changes in IRS regulations regarding the use of FSA and HRA debit cards were sent to PrimeFlex clients and their employees that participate in this pre-tax benefit. These changes affect the ability to use your PrimeFlex debit card for eligible FSA purchases at drug stores and pharmacies. This IRS change is effective July 1, 2009. July 2, 2009 — PrimeFlex clients received information on two new service enhancements... Online Claims Submission and Online Enrollment. These improvements are designed to enhance the overall experience for employers and employees. Online Claims Submission makes it easy for participants to submit receipts for their eligible expenses via the web. Online Enrollment makes it easy for employers to allow their employees to enroll for certain benefits online. No more paperwork to hand out and collect! February 23, 2009 — PrimeFlex clients that offer their employees reimbursement for mass transit and parking expenses received a notification that the transit limit will increase effective March 1, 2009. The Economic Stimulus Package enacted on February 17, 2009 increases the current $120 per month income exclusion for mass transit expenses to $230 per month.
